7 Low-Carb Meals in Under 10 Minutes

Living that low-carb life can be tiresome in terms of coming up with creative meal options, and on a weeknight when you want dinner on the table quickly, it can be overwhelming trying to think of ways to feed yourself.

Here are some easy ideas for super-fast meals that only require 10 minutes of your time and minimal planning.

Coconut Eggs and Veggies

Okay, the name doesn’t sound super appealing but trust us on this one. The coconut bit is for frying your eggs in coconut oil, which will give you that extra boost of healthy fats and energy thanks to the plentiful MCTs in coconut. The healthy vegetables on the side (or within the hash) add fiber and sustenance, keeping you full for a long time.

Ingredients

Coconut oil, fresh vegetables or frozen vegetable mix (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans), eggs, spices, spinach (optional).

Wings with Greens and Salsa

Whether you’re whipping these up for Game Night or you’re craving wings for dinner, this dish is likely going to become a go-to for you. Just smother them with spices and serve some salsa and greens on the side! keto or not, grilled wings are definitely superior to their fried components.

Ingredients

Chicken wings, spices, greens, salsa.

Bacon and Eggs

If the keto diet itself had a logo, it would be bacon, so have fun with including this staple into your healthy keto diet! Don’t go crazy with it though, try to keep your bacon intake to 1-2 times a week to keep the weight loss momentum going.

Ingredients

Bacon, eggs, spices to taste.

Ground Beef and Peppers

This satisfying twist on a fajita will settle your Tex-Mex night cravings in a delicious bowl. Wanna make it more fun? Add some cheese in and finely chop and sautee cauliflower in cumin and garlic powder to make cauliflower rice.

Ingredients

Onion, coconut oil, ground beef, spices, spinach, and one bell pepper of choice.

Bunless Cheeseburgers

One of the best things about going low-carb is the fact that you can still have cheeseburgers. Only difference? No bun! So try out a bunless burger with two different kinds of cheese and a side of raw spinach. If you want to go extra rogue, use two portobello mushrooms as a bun (but grill them, first!). And for all keto readers, cooking your burger patty in butter gives you that juicy extra boost of fat you need for energy.

Ingredients

Butter, hamburger patties, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, salsa, spices, spinach.

Fried Chicken

It isn’t breaded fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, but smothering your chicken in butter and spices, and then pan-frying it will achieve unbelievable crispiness that will pair beautifully with seasoned greens.

Ingredients

Chicken breast, butter, salt, pepper, curry, garlic powder, and leafy greens.

Meatza

We’ve all been there on keto: the pizza craving gets too real and it ends up being the one thing you want more than anything else. But have you thought of turning the crust into straight-up meat instead of cauliflower, or any other type of crust? There are ways to have your pizza and eat it too, and we’re really into this meat-lovers variation!

Ingredients

Ground beef, onion, spices, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bacon, olives, mushroom (to taste.)
