Don’t you love bacon? It’s almost too good to be true that you’re actually allowed to eat it while on a diet. Well, the perks of keto! To top it all off, this great breakfast or brunch recipe only takes half an hour to prepare!

Ingredients (for two people):

  • 2 eggs
  • 12 asparagus spears
  • 6 slices of bacon

Prep:

  1. Trim the asparagus spears so they’re not too long. While you’re at it, preheat the oven to 400F.
  2. Wrap a slice of bacon around a pair of asparagus.
  3. When you’re done with all the asparagus, put them on a sheet pan and in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  4. While the asparagus is in the oven, prepare soft boiled eggs as a dip for the asparagus when they’re done!

2.       Breakfast Idea: Veggies & Eggs in Coconut Oil

In only ten minutes, you can prepare a fantastic meal to start your day in full strength. Eggs for proteins and vegetables for vitamins. What more do you need?

Ingredients:

  • Coconut oil
  • Veggie mix: carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, optional spinach
  • 3 eggs
  • Spices

Prep:

  1. Heat some coconut oil in a frying pan.
  2. Add the vegetables save for the spinach. Let them thaw a bit if they’re frozen.
  3. Add the eggs.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. If you like spinach, add it now.
  6. Fry until done!

3.       Lunch Idea: Baked Salmon

Salmon is definitely one of the most delicious fish that you can enjoy eating on a keto diet. Take a look at this simple, yet fantastic recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Salmon fish fillet
  • Softened butter
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Prep:

  1. Grease a baking dish and put the fish fillet in it.
  2. Sprinkle some garlic powder over the fillet.
  3. Spread the butter over the fish and add salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425F and bake the fish for around 10 minutes.
  5. Check the fillet and bake some more if needed.

  • Coconut oil
  • An onion – chopped
  • Ground beef
  • Spices
  • Spinach
  • A bell pepper – sliced

Prep:

  1. Add the chopped onion to previously heated coconut oil in a pan.
  2. Add the beef and some spices, such as salt and pepper.
  3. After some stirring, add the spinach.
  4. When done, add the sliced fresh bell pepper to complete the dish.

5.       Dinner Idea: Fried Chicken Breasts

Chicken is always a good idea. It’s done quickly and if you get just a bit imaginative, you can come up with a million different recipes.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breasts
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Curry spice mix
  • Garlic powder
  • Brussels sprouts

Prep:

  1. Slice up the chicken breasts.
  2. Heat some butter in a pan and add the small pieces of chicken.
  3. Add the salt and curry spice.
  4. Fry the chicken until it’s brown and crispy.
  5. Serve with cooked Brussel sprouts.

6.       Dinner Idea: Simple Keto Oatmeal

  4. Slot cupcake papers into a muffin tray and pour the mixture in each.
  5. Freeze for 30 to 60 minutes.
